There are thousands of web developers in the world, if not millions! So who in the right mind would start-up a web design business during a recession when  other companies were going out of business? Well...that'd be me, Kevin Coyle!

Who am I? Well, I've always been a bit of a geek. When all the other kids were outside playing football, I was sat playing with my computer. This, of course, had it's downsides... but the upside is that I now know a thing or two about computers!

I've always believed that hard work and dedication are the key to success, so I worked in every dead-end job I could 'til finally I turned 18 and went to University to study Technological Physics.

In my final year at Manchester University I was asked to help finish a website for a friend of mine. This friend was none other than the world-famous astrologer Russell Grant! He was so impressed with the results he saw, that he wanted to make an investment into starting a new venture with me. Not a financial investment, but something much more useful; he was to invest his time in me. And that so it was, at the age of 22, I became a company director.

From the start we had back-to-back meetings with celebrity managing agencies and other high-profile individuals all over the UK. From here the next big client came along - presenter and singer, Aled Jones.

Aled really wanted an interactive website that would help him engage with his fans, but also remain in complete control. His P.A. and I went straight to work on this ambitious project and achieved a fantastic final result.

Things then spiraled out of control for CoyleDesign. I just couldn't do it all on my own, so I sought the help and advice of my friends and finally took on my first permanent member of staff.

In 2010, with politicians and political organisations increasingly looking to employ new and modern forms of communication, the political world was scrambling to get the most out of the internet. Upon hearing of this exciting new web development firm, Sajjad Karim MEP's office called CoyleDesign and asked us to develop his official website. Ever since then we have developed a close relationship with Mr Karim's office and we liaise with them regularly to help further develop their web presence.

Whilst quietly making a cup of tea in my kitchen last November, a gentleman called me out of the blue. That gentleman was none other than comedian, Joe Pasqule! And so the celebrity interest kept on coming...
