What the heck is that?

Ok, I know it sounds like a more complicated buzzword that you don't want to learn however this one may be vital for you! I'm not kidding.  

How we used to view the web

Not so long ago people used to only view the web on one of these clunky things.
Next came mobile phones and WAP. It was text based and required a whole load of special coding just to get it to work. It was never worth it because it just looked so damn ugly!
Next came the smart phone. The most game changing phone at the time being Apple's iPhones. These types of smart phones let people view the whole web. But there was one problem - the web wasn't ready for it! Using archaic technology such as Flash and not adapting to the users screen size made it a less palatable experience
Next came the rise of the tablet computers. Tablets have been around for quite some time but never really took off. Steve Jobs put a stop to that and gave us the iPad.

Ok, what was the point of the history lesson?

The point that I was trying to make with this is that the way in which people are viewing the web is drastically changing. Screen sizes and interface methods such as touchscreens have changed everything. This is why it's important to keep this in mind when you have your new website developed.
